Australian pacer Mitchell Johnson has
announced that he will retire from all forms of international cricket after
today's conclusion to the second Test against New Zealand at WACA.
The announcement was made in a statement by Cricket Australia this morning before the start of the final day. In a statement, Johnson said, it was an incredible ride, but the ride has to come
to an end at some point and to do so at WACA is very special.
Johnson, playing his 73rd Test, has bagged 311 wickets in the longest format of the game. Only Shane Warne, Glenn McGrath and Dennis Lillee have taken more test scalps for Australia than Johnson.
