On 7 th October-2015 the world bank assisted
National Watershed Management Project Neeranchal was approved by CCEA.
The Total cost of the Project – Rs. 2142.30 crore ( Government’s share – Rs. 1071.15 crore
(50 percent) ,Rest of the amount – loan component from the World Bank.)
Project Implementing States (9
States) : Andhra Pradesh, Chhattisgarh,
Gujarat, Jharkhand, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Odisha, Rajasthan and
Telangana.
