11th Feb Adani to set up country's largest solar plant in Rajasthan

Adani Enterprises on 9 February 2015 signed a pact with the Rajasthan government to develop the country's largest solar park in the state with 10,000 MW capacity over the next 10 years at an estimated investment of about Rs 40,000 crore. Adani Enterprises CEO Vineet Jain and Rajasthan Renewable Energy Corporation Managing Director B K Dosi signed the MoU

The company will set up solar power project of 5000 MW on its own in the next five years. The project will help in reducing carbon footprint by approximately 16.2 metric tonnes and produce 16644 million units of clean and green energy.
